Connecting Singles has both
public chat rooms (with a group of members) and
private chat (one-on-one with one member at a time). Private chat is Instant Messenger or IM. Although most dating sites charge for chat, at Connecting Singles, Chat, IM and ALL other features are 100% FREE!
- You can access the Chat rooms, by clicking the Chat link on the top navigation.
- You can access the Instant Messenger by going to a members profile and clicking the "IM" button, or you can enter the public chat and "IM" members privately in the public chat and begin chatting.

Chat with up to 25 members at a time, create your own chat room, meet new friends, or invite existing friends to chat! Also, click the "IM" button to chat one-on-one with a member already in the chat room.
Private Chat (see screenshot
right)
Chat one-on-one with other members. To find members to chat with, click on
Online Today to find members who are online who may be available for chatting. Click the "IM" link on the search results?? page or the "IM" button when you are viewing a member's profile. A chat window will popup, type a message in the box and click send, and as soon as you send the first message, a corresponding chat window will popup on their screen with your picture on it. And then begin chatting!
